Presents as a wireless headset to infotainment systems requiring a headset for CarPlay use. (Add device as rider role.) Is USB-C to USB-C version.
Ideal for new motorcycle infotainment systems allowing CarPlay to play through speakers without carrying a motorcycle headset. The Motorcycles Infotainment system must support a Bluetooth headset connection. Passthrough USB C port allows for phone charging.
Infotainment system must support wireless CarPlay that requires a paired wireless headset. Device does not convert wired CarPlay to wireless, only presents as a headset for this requirement.
Will not work as a microphone for Siri, Google Assistant or phone calls. Enjoy music and navigation prompts through your speakers without bringing a headset along for the ride!
If you are using wired Carplay you can flip the phone’s cable where it connects to the Bypass. If your bike has a USB port, you will need a USB-A to USB-C female adapter
The CVO model needs to be the year 23.5 or newer. Does not work on Non CVO BOOM infotainment systems. Will meet the bluetooth headset requirement for CarPlay activation on most other manufactures. Have any usage and connection problems, please contact us and we will help you at any time.
Note that HD bike with the BOOM system may require the headset module from HD. Wired carplay to wireless carplay requires WHIM module.
