One online creator came up with what is quite possibly the cutest wall decor idea we’ve ever seen. Not only does it fit perfectly with the rest of her home’s aesthetic, but it also incorporates her and her partner’s life directly into the space, while also giving them the opportunity to switch it up every month or season.
Using Goals As Decor
We’ve all seen gallery walls before, but Taelyn from @taelynkcrosbyart on Instagram has taken this idea to a whole new level. Instead of a basic gallery, she decided to combine a bucket list with decor. She wrote down a handful of bucket list items for the next season onto small slips of paper.
Using vintage picture frames and scraps of fabric, Taelyn created backdrops for her bucket list goals, securing the small slips of paper to the fabric with tape. If you replicate this at home, it’s important to ensure you can easily take the paper on and off, as you will eventually want to replace it with a photo from the actual event.
At the end of the month or season, you will be left with a wall of newly-made memories.

Besides ticking off your bucket list goals, you can incorporate a ton of memories and nostalgia into your home decor with other precious items. With a vintage picture frame and a scrap of fabric, you can create a full memory wall for your space. Like we noted before, one easy way to use your family’s momentos as decor is to frame old letters, notes, recipes, cards, etc. Put against a piece of vintage fabric, anything can become stunning wall art.

If you love commemorating meaningful events, one of the easiest ways is to press a handful of flowers from the event and frame them on your wall. You could even do this with decorative napkins (unused, of course), table place cards, ribbons, or confetti.
