Home Decor in Festival Place Basingstoke to close with sale
Home Decor, which sells a range of home decorations and appliances, has put up signs in its shop window confirming the closure.
The notice reads: “Closing down sale. Everything must go. Massive savings. Don’t miss out.”
The shop, which opened in Festival Place in late 2025, sits next to ProCook and opposite Sophie Street in one of the busy walkways inside the Basingstoke shopping centre.
It stocks a wide range of household goods, including shopping trolleys, bedding, kitchenware, heaters, fans, towels, bins, cookware, suitcases, electronics, pictures and lamps.
The closing down signs mean customers can expect significant discounts across many of these products as the retailer looks to clear its remaining stock.
Home Decor’s closure will mark another change to the retail mix at the shopping centre, which has seen a number of new openings and departures in recent years. The exact closing date for the store has not been announced by the owners.
It is not yet known why the business is shutting its doors, and the owners have not publicly commented on the decision at this stage.
